 Years Home Services

We are a proud provider of Children's Services in Leicester, providing a warm, nurturing home for young people aged 5 to 17 years of age. Young people will be able to stay in our care until completion of their full time education or any further education up to the age of 17 years.

We have a great team of staff willing to guide and meet the needs of young people across the continuum of care, from persons new to the care system to those getting ready to move to independence.

The young person will have their own room, which will be furnished to a high standard. After they move in, the children or young people will be able to personalise their rooms to a colour scheme of their choice.

At Provision Care Children, we follow the principles of Therapeutic Parenting and the PACE Model of care, which are at the heart of everything we do. These approaches are not just frameworks, they are guiding philosophies that shape our interactions and support strategies for each child in our care.

Our Ethos

Provision Care Children is committed to creating a warm, safe and truly nurturing home for every young person we support. Our goal is to offer a genuine home-from-home environment where children feel valued, encouraged and protected. We want each young person to move forward in life knowing they were given the best possible experiences, filled with support, laughter and meaningful opportunities. We see ourselves as the steppingstones on their journey to success, standing beside them with unwavering guidance, care and belief.

We provide fully individualised, high-quality care that recognises each child’s unique needs, talents and aspirations. Our focus is to promote dignity, nurture confidence and build self-esteem so that every young person has the chance to reach their full potential. We work to create an environment where individuality is celebrated and where life can be enjoyed with purpose, stability and hope.

We also support young people who may have experienced periods of going missing or placing themselves at risk of harm, including exploitation, substance misuse, or other vulnerabilities. To keep them safe and strengthen their future, we work in close partnership with the police, health professionals, youth offending teams, missing-from-home coordinators and other specialist agencies such as substance-misuse workers, CAMHS and CSE teams. Through this strong multi-agency approach, we ensure that every young person receives the coordinated care, protection and support they need to move forward safely and confidently.

Our Team

The staff team encourage young people to make choices and encourage them to take acceptable risks and make decisions as to help them gain life skills and develop. The home strives on positivity and energy and aims to provide young people with opportunities and fond memories.

Each staff member is part of a key working team, they have roles and responsibilities as a key worker to ensure the needs of the child/young person are met. Young people will be supported in health and education and will be given lots of encouragement and rewards.

The team protect the young people’s identity and promote equality and diversity. Support is given to each child/young person to help them gain independence skills to prepare them for adulthood and ensure they understand how they can keep themselves safe.

If we feel that young people are ready, we can then support them through the transition to 16+ services while continuing with our support as they prepare to leave care.
